Reception

We can provide any wine you should wish, or alternatively our cocktail bartenders can entertain you and mix up a new cocktail uniquely for you. We also stock a wide variety of beers, covering over 15 countries, showing fabulous examples of lagers, ales, wheat beers and cider and our range of spirits is similarly extensive. We pride ourselves on keeping our prices below the high street prices, giving you and your guests excellent value for money. We can serve drinks from the bar or waiting staff can top up glasses throughout the evening - the choice is yours.

The options for entertainment are equally as far ranging with our Blue room theatre being ideal for live bands, and we can convert any of our rooms into a private dance hall with DJ or band.

PA systems are available for speeches (and the power switch for when it's gone on too long!).

Preparation, Preparation, Preparation

We know how stressful weddings can be and we will do our very best, both in the planning stages and on the day itself, to keep everything running smoothly. We have lists of previously used and tested entertainers from DJs to Casinos and we are happy to help with the booking process. Our Events Manager will be happy to help at any stage with advice and support, whatever your needs.

On the day we can provide staff to assist in decorating and we are happy to clean up afterwards too. We will provide wine and menu tastings well in advance of the date and can tailor everything to your needs.

  • 3 course dinner Glass of Sparkling wine to toast and 1/2 bottle of wine per person for 25. DJ for the evening reception

  • Deluxe three course dinner in the Fairfax Rhodes room of the Library Champagne to toast and 1/2 bottle of premium wine per person with dinner DJ for the evening reception Menu tasting and wine tasting prior to event £500 bar tab to get the reception going

  • Deluxe three course dinner in the Fairfax Rhodes room of the Library Champagne to toast and 1/2 bottle of premium wine per person with dinner DJ for the evening reception £800 bar tab to get the reception going Finger buffet for 100 evening guests

All these packages are examples of what we can do but we quote individually for each event, helping you to stay within your budget and get the best out of your day.
