"Do you really want to work in the media (or politics)?"

Former presenter of the incredibly popular BBC shows 'That's Life' and 'Esther', Esther Rantzen is a TV personality and journalist. As one of the UK's leading campaigners for child protection, she helped secure rights for child witnesses in court and in the 1980s founded ChildLine - the first national helpline for children in danger or distress, which has been copied in over 150 countries. In 2006 Rantzen was awarded a CBE for her work with children's causes, and in the 2010 general election she stood as a candidate for Parliament in Luton South.
